what my lay ahead

The other night, me and the boys went out to this Malibu (the hooch) sponsored thingamabob. It was interesting to say the least. You may or may not know, but me and the sauce are no longer seeing each other. So at this event, there were free hor d’oeuvres and of course all the Bu you could handle. Can’t say I’m a huge fan of the stuff, but if I weren’t on the wagon, I probably would’ve severely abused the complimentary drink. Nonetheless, it was alright, there was some decent entertainment by crazy hula-like dancers and some band called VHS or Beta, they had good taste in guitars. What fascinated me the most though, was the diversity of those in attendance. Apparently, it was a lot like it is in Vegas, people of all ages and types. But it got me to thinking about what I would be like as an older partier. Whether it be at clubs, bars, or concerts, I don’t wanna be “that old guy” trying to stay hip with all the kids. It is indeed a weird thought. I need to get all my crowd surfing in while I still can.

In other news, my search for a career continues. As my internship gains momentum, I’ve found a few options for other jobs that would lead me away from potential fun times, learning cool things and possible income there, but these other options would be a little more secure, so I’m all mixed up. One would have me flying all over the place, another would be a summer in NY, another would be staying here. The thought of going to grad school in Europe also peeked its head out for a second, only to be dashed by confusing rules and other weirdness.

So, in the meantime, I watch tutorials on fun, exciting things in multimedia, scour the internet for a career, and daydream of my gf.

till next time.
