Dual is cool

The past few weeks have been considerably more busy than what I’ve gotten used to. First off, I started a new internship with a production company. It’s a pretty good deal, so far I’m doing little projects and helping with various other tasks to get back in the swing of the creative mindset, which is what the bossman is looking for in an intern, he understands my brain has been out of use for some time. So in a month or two he’ll be taking on some clients and by then I’ll have my skillz back so I can do those assignments and get some scratch. I’ve also traveled to Chicago for a nice break from the bleak mundanity that is Southfield. I space out my visits there good enough for when I go back the magic is still abundant and I love it even more. This time there was a healthy amount and it was glorious, somewhat dreamlike.

Well, today though, I went off to the ol’ office to find it was locked and the lights were off so I came home, watched Jeopardy and took a nap. I was awoken by the doorbell. It was the FedEx guy with a package for me…my Irish Passport! Its so great, way better than my US one. So now I have lofty dreams of peacin out and disappearing into the hills, or maybe starting a peat farm. We’ll see..

So thats that.

love,
Patrick
