2nd Half

Yesterday I completed my 2nd half marathon. It was fantastic. Out of 19,326, I came in 3,201th place. 262nd in my age group. Awesome!

I decided to participate in the Detroit Free Press/Flagstar half soon after I did the Napa to Sonoma one this past summer. Although I didn’t train as much as I wanted, I finished and it was a great run. There were a handful of great moments in the race: crossing the Ambassador bridge at sunrise, fun signs, running through the Detroit/Windsor tunnel, great music and beating my Napa time by 14 minutes!

I’m at around 2:24:25, grey shirt, arms raised. Triumphant.
