it's paddytime

I just shot a gun.

My friend Alex is getting married on Saturday.  So today, as part of his bachelor party celebration, we went to the gun range.  It was my first time handling a hand gun and first time to shoot any real gun.  I have to admit it was fun, but I was feeling anxious like beforehand.  I don’t really like guns, they just don’t have much appeal to me, but after shooting one I can see how people can get to like em.  There were some crazy weapons in this place too, to think somebody would come in there and buy a huge assult rifle for whatever reason boggled my mind a little. 

So there’s that.  In a few hours I’ll be going back to work for a 2nd day of night shoots.  On my down time I’m reading Bonk by Mary Roach.  Its great, it makes the time fly.  OK, I have to steal a quick nap before tonight.
