Is blogging still a thing?
At this point I can safely admit I won’t ever be on top of updating this one on a consistant basis. My apologies.
Since last we’ve talked, a lot has happened. I’ve kept myself somewhat busy PA’ing (still). Though tiring and old, work has been fun this year. I’ve been able to work on great shoots, meet awesome folks and continue to learn a lot. Really, that’s whats keeping me around this crazy business. I’ve also traveled more than usual this year. The highlights being Tokyo, New Orleans and L.A. Great times.
So, aside from the Tigers losing horribly in the World Series this year, life has been pretty fantastic. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I’m feeling quite grateful for it all.
I’ve been back and forth to Philadelphia working on a couple food shows. I’ve always had a good time in this city. On this particular day, while shooting exteriors, our fabulous cameraman “Z” captured this fun moment on his iphone. It certainly made my day. Enjoy.
I just moved to our nation’s capital. A deceivingly fun town but not exactly the mecca for my line of work, unless you’re into news. I shall do my best to find satisfying employment nonetheless. This quote helps me stay positive:
“Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you’re kind, amazing things will happen.” -Conan O’Brien
Something I worked on recently. It was an interesting shoot to say the least. Good times, nice weather. I’m glad it came out well and I definitely like the look.
Is my blog dying? No posts since Groundhog day. Yikes.
The big news of the day is that I finally have myself a spiffy new computer. Maybe you’ll see more productivity out of me. Maybe.
ps. you should hang out at lukeandnick.com , good stuff.
